position summary

As Mavencare continues to expand, we are looking for a Corporate Recruiter to join our team and help us select and recruit the highest quality staff who meet the Mavencare standards of excellence. The role is based out of our Downtown Toronto Office.

Account executive Responsibilities

  • Develop recruiting strategies in collaboration with internal operations and engineering teams to identify and hire top talent in and from the Toronto, NYC and new territories.
  • Develop knowledge of the local market for technical talent, including local universities and targeted technical organizations.
  • Lead the offer process - including understanding primary motivators, extending offers, employer value propositions, closing hires, and relevant follow up.
  • Partner with University job placement teams to drive and utilize talent pipeline from recruiting events, sourcing from job postings, and referrals.
  • Manage recruiting pipeline for all roles
  • Report weekly on your strategy updates and hiring progress to greater talent teams, organization and leadership.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • 3+ years of experience in a recruiting role in the Toronto area
  • Experience with recruiting for a fast growing start up an asset
  • Highly proficient with the use of computer, web and mobile technology
